Over time materials can wear and this causes leaks in vital equipment, CGM provide specialist NDT services either from our workshop in Cardiff or at your site/premises.

Conventional NDT services we provide:

• Visual Inspection
• Liquid Penetrant Inspection – can be used on a variety of non-porous materials, large areas can be rapidly inspected.
• Magnetic Particle Inspection – used to find defects in ferromagnetic material eg nickel, iron, cobalt.

Any identified leaks or weaknesses can be further investigated and methods of repair can be suggested by our engineers to improve longevity of the tested material.
